Walking through the streets with body awareness, from the weaknesses indicated by urban barriers,
is a reality that, in some cities, becomes inevitable.
Ripollet, a small city 10km from Barcelona, is one of them.

Entering Ripollet by the footbridge is to see that the lack of accessibility is not an abstraction, but rather
the clear evidence of the lack of attention to the average citizen.

Urban planning is not neutral, each intervention is a political or rather ideological position.
We want to improve people's lives, but what do we prioritize?
I intend to tell you that the political game is our game, to understand each action that
has been done or that has not been done.
I want to join the dream by accompanying
the citizens' demands, the desires, the longings, even the most contradictory ones.

Yes, this project is about a dream but at the same time about a nightmare of the inhabitants of Ripollet.
Within the dream, the people of the town act, reflect, complain, and express themselves. In the nightmare,
each unattended complaint is a wound, a break, a disappointment, a frustration.

For more than a year I have been accompanying the work that many people were developing f
rom the knowledge and articulation of the agents existing in the city, doing a rigorous work that,
for decades, has allowed them to think about the city and reflect on why so many young people
leave the city and do not return, despite this strong sense of belonging that transforms the love for
the place into a physical and emotional distancing without return.
