The tradition of the oppressed teaches us that the "state of exception" in which we live is the rule. (Walter Benjamin. [Thesis VII] On the concept of History)

In this sense we could find a clue in some of the Agamben texts, in particular where he develops the theory of the State of Exception (EE) that is based on the works of Carl Schmitt and that reinforces the idea of the 8th Thesis on the concept of the History of W. Benjamin where he says: The tradition of the oppressed teaches us that the "state of exception" in which we live is the rule. That is, we accept as normal situations of violence instituted by a state power without ethical or functional limits.

And if the paradigm of the 90 was the panopticon, that of our moment according to Agamben, is the concentration camp (of extermination). And what are the concentration camps but our borders, where bodies excluded from the qualified political life are abandoned by thousands, finding death in many cases or wandering around societies that expels them to marginalization and failure.
